Though in the early 1990s, there was an important paradigm shift through the implementation of ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001, Safety, Quality and Environment have evolved in a parallel way – by choice and necessity – from a reactive to a preventive culture, and therefore aligning to the new model of Prevention.
